Kintavar: Sherlock Drilling Returns Best Intercept to Date

The first 5 drill holes in the Sherlock area have all intersected successfully the mineralized sedimentary unit over tens of meters. 

Kintavar Exploration (TSXV:KTR) has announced the first drilling results from the 2018 campaign – the first 5 drill holes in the Sherlock area have all intersected successfully the mineralized sedimentary unit over tens of meters.

According to the release, drill hole MS-18-14 has intersected mineralization in the beginning of the hole over 83 m grading at 0.42 percent copper and 4.52 grams per tonne (g/t) silver including 0.63 percent copper and 7.45 g/t silver over 34.25 m which is the best intersection to date at the Sherlock showing.

As highlighted in the press release:

  • All the five drill holes successfully intersected the mineralized stratigraphy
  • MS-18-14: 0.42 percent copper and 4.52 g/t silver over 83.0 m including:
    0.63 percent copper and 7.45 g/t silver over 34.25 m
  • MS-18-16: 0.25 percent copper and 2.19 g/t silver over 92.8 m including
    0.50 percent copper and 4.97 g/t silver over 24.7 m
  • Elementary showing: New zone identified with over 35m of mineralization on surface
