BHP Billiton’s Kloppers Insists he Wasn’t Fired, but Retired
The International Business Times reported that BHP Billiton’s former Chief Executive Marius Kloppers says that his recent exit was actually retirement and that he was not fired.
The International Business Times reported that BHP Billiton’s former Chief Executive Marius Kloppers says that his recent exit was actually retirement, not was not fired, but left of his own accord.
As quoted in the market report:
Unlike Tom Albanese, his counterpart in Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton (BHP: ASX) Chief Executive Marius Kloppers insisted over the weekend that he was not sacked, and his retirement is part of the miner’s succession plan in place since he was appointed to the top post six years ago.
