Adriatic: Highest Grade Intercept at Rupice to Date

    Scott Tibballs
    Nov. 01, 2018 09:27AM PST

The CEO of Adriatic said that drilling continues to confirm not just the continuity of the thick and high-grade mineralization but the ‘spectacular precious metals content not previously assayed in the majority of the historical drilling’.

Adriatic Metals (ASX:ADT) has announced that it has received assay results from two further drill holes from the current programme at Rupice in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As highlighted in the press release:

    • Drill hole BR-22-18 was drilled to acquire gold and silver assay data in the vicinity of the historical drilling and returned: 42m at 14.1 percent zinc, 8.4 percent lead, 245 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 5.7 g/t gold, 1.4 percent copper, and 34 percent barium sulfide from 222m.
    • Drill hole BR-23-18 was drilled in the up-dip mineralization to the west of the high-grade plunge returned: 12m at 1.4 percent zinc, 2.8 percent lead, 228 g/t silver, 0.8 g/t gold, 0.3 percent copper, and 16 percent barium sulfide from 74m.
    • Drilling continues with 4 rigs in operation.

CEO of Adriatic, Geraint Harris said:

“BR-22-18 continues to confirm not just the continuity of the thick and high-grade mineralization but the spectacular precious metals content not previously assayed in the majority of the historical drilling, and which will be incorporated into our maiden mineral resource estimate at Rupice.”
