First Majestic Reaches Purchase Deal for Silvermex

Mining Weekly reported that First Majestic (TSX:FR) will buy Silvermex (TSX:SLX) for $175 million.

As quoted in the market news:

The friendly cash and scrip deal offers TSX- and Frankfurt-listed Silvermex shareholders a 33% premium to the company’s closing share price on Monday, the companies said.
