Sylvania Platinum Reaches Wage Agreement At Eastern Operations

Mining Weekly reported Sylvania Platinum (LSE:SLP,ASX:SLP) has reached a wage settlement with workers at its Eastern operations, including the Steelpoort, Doornbosch, Lannex and Tweefontein plants.

As quoted in the market news:

Negotiations with the National Union of Mineworkers took over six months before a final, signed agreement for the 2013 financial year was reached. The agreement would see the overall wage bill increase by 11.8%.
