Price of Platinum Improves After Weak Holiday Performance

The International Business Times reported that the price of platinum increased by 0.2% after Christmas.

As quoted in the market news:

“Among other precious metals, platinum futures inched up by 0.2% to $1,539.30 per ounce while palladium added 0.6% to $690.25 per ounce.  As for cyclical commodities, crude oil futures jumped 2.7% to $90.97 per barrel while copper climbed 1.5% to $3.60 per pound.”
