Platinum Reaches Five-Month High

SMH reported platinum and other precious metals rose on Eurozone bailout doubts.

As quoted in the market news:

Platinum rose by 2.4 per cent on the day to $US1,679.74 an ounce, having earlier hit $US1,681, a five-month high. Platinum prices have been boosted by supply worries in South Africa.
