Kitco reported Platinum Group Metals (NYSE:PLG,TSX:PTM) is planning to begin production of platinum, palladium, gold and rhodium at its mine in South Africa.

As quoted in the market news:
The mine is located in the Western Bushveld area of South Africa, about 20 kilometers from the giant Rustenburg mine owned by Impala Platinum, and sits in the heart of South African platinum production, said Kris Begic, vice president of corporate development for the Vancouver-based Platinum Group Metals.
