Platinum ETFs Up 20%

The Street reported gold is no longer an investment darling as platinum has outperformed the metal for the year.

As quoted in the market news:

The ETFS Physical Platinum Shares (PPLT)has gained nearly 20% since the start of the year. Comparatively, the iShares Gold Trust (IAU) has seen only 7.5% returns.
