India Info Online.com reports that there is speculation that Platinum and Palladium price will rise in the coming year.
India Info Online.com reports that there is speculation that Platinum and Palladium price will rise in the coming year.
The story is quoted as saying:
Credit Agricole CIB lifted its price targets for platinum and palladium and looks for both to be higher a year from now. For both the bank cites increased industrial use plus tighter markets after the launch of physically backed exchange traded funds in the U.S. this year. In the case of platinum there are potential supply issues in South Africa as a price slump has led to cuts in capital expenditures on new projects. Palladium is likely to benefit from stronger growth in gasoline fueled cars such as those driven in the U.S. and China.
