After CME Raises Futures Margins Gold Falls, Palladium Rises

Bloomberg reports gold fell as other precious metals rose after CME raised futures margins on the yellow metal.

The market news is quoted as saying,

Cash silver gained 0.5 percent to $39.935 an ounce, spot platinum was little changed at $1,812.25 an ounce and palladium climbed 0.5 percent to $751.63 an ounce.
