Weapons-Grade Uranium Shipments to Chalk River Almost Finished

The Ottawa Citizen reported that U.S. shipments of  weapons grade uranium to the Chalk River plant for medical isotopes are coming to a close.

As quoted in the market report:

Based on the previous shipments, that suggests the NRU will require a total of only two to three more seven kilogram shipments before isotope production ceases. The latest proposed U.S. shipment, therefore, is likely the antepenultimate or penultimate load to Canada.
