Uranium Spot Prices Around $49 A Pound

Platts reported the spot market price of uranium remained right around $49 over the past week despite increased buying activity.

As quoted in the market news:

TradeTech on Friday kept its weekly spot price at $49/lb, noting that the spot market volume for the week rose to about 950,000 lb U3O8 from about 600,000 lb traded the week ending August 10, and from 225,000 lb the week ending August 3. TradeTech said utilities bought the bulk of that 950,000 lb.
