Uranium Spot Price Tuesday Stands at $52.25/lb U3O8

Platts reported the uranium spot price as of midday is about $52.25 a pound U3O8, analysts said Tuesday.

As quoted in the market news:

Late last week, it appeared as if the spot price would move closer to $53/lb, as news began to circulate that producer Kazatomprom was interested in buying as much as 900,000 lb U3O8 for delivery between now and January.
