Canadian Business announced First Uranium (TSX:FIU) is cutting the amount it estimates unitholders will receive as it closes operations.

As quoted in the market news:

The company said Thursday it expects unitholders will be paid at least 12.5 cents per unit, down from an estimate in June of approximately 22 cents per unit.

First Uranium attributed the lower estimate to changes in exchange rates as well as lower than expected gold prices and production from the operations.
