Cameco Delays Kintyre Mine Decision

Mining Weekly reported Cameco (TSX:CCO,NYSE:CCJ) is waiting for market conditions to improve before developing its Kintyre mine.

As quoted in the market news:

Speaking to analysts during the company’s second-quarter results presentation, CEO Tim Gitzel said that a recent prefeasibility study had indicated that the project economics were not as favourable as had been hoped.
