China Spends US$949 Million on Rare Earth Stockpiles

Mineweb reported that China has allocated roughly US$949 million for its rare earth stockpiling program.

China has adopted various ways of collecting rare earths, such as building strategic reserves and purchasing rare earths for national storage.
