Manganese Mine to Come Online in Mid-2012

Mining Weekly reported that the Kalagadi Manganese project belonging to Kalahari Resources is expected to be commissioned by the middle of 2012.

The editorial is quoted as saying:

It was expected that the mine would be commissioned by July 2012, with an initial production capacity of three- million tons a year yielding about 2,4-million tons of high-grade manganese sinter.
