Platts reported that Australian miner Consolidated Minerals reported a 20% year-over-year decline in Q3 manganese ore sales, most of which could be attributed to a drop in exports from its Ghana operations.

Platts reported that Australian miner Consolidated Minerals reported a 20% year-over-year decline in Q3 manganese ore sales, most of which could be attributed to a drop in exports from its Ghana operations.

As quoted in the market report:

Consmin shipped 748,600 mt of manganese ore in the third quarter compared with 940,900 mt in the year-ago period. Exports of manganese from Consmin’s Ghana operations were 23.5% lower year on year in the quarter ended September, the company said in its latest results.
