BHP Will End Manganese Production in Tasmania

Reuters reported that BHP Billiton (ASX:BHP) will close its Tasmanian manganese production facility.

As quoted in the market news:

Manganese alloy markets in Europe and North America have been weak and global prices remain low, it said.
