Vision is a junior exploration company focused on exploring and developing high quality battery mineral assets including lithium and copper, primarily in Canada.
Vision Lithium Inc. (TSXV:VLI) has released the results from its 1,584 metre drilling program targeting the number 5 dyke outcrop and surrounding area. The Sirmac lithium property, consists of 194 mining claims having a total area of approximately 10,350 hectares, and is located 180 kilometres by road north-west of Chibougamau, Quebec.
Vision is a junior exploration company focused on exploring and developing high quality battery mineral assets including lithium and copper, primarily in Canada.
As quoted from the press release:
“This short drill program is our first work since acquiring the Sirmac property and was done in winter conditions. Holes drilled on the number 5 dyke were successful in replicating past results and extending the dyke to the north, and will also provide material for new metallurgical tests later this summer. We will follow up on this work with a summer exploration program to better understand the main dyke geometry ahead of renewed drilling later this year. The bulk of the recent drilling was however done outside the main dyke zone where we intersected multiple narrow pegmatites which appear to be LCT dykes. As we advance the main dyke zone, we want to evaluate these and other targets on the property which show potential for lithium mineralization,” said Yves Rougerie, president and CEO of Vision.

All rock samples were sent for preparation and analysis to the ALS Chemex laboratory in Val-d’Or, Quebec. Core samples were sawed in half, with one half being bagged and tagged using barcodes. The samples are typically 1.5 metre samples. The samples were transported to Val d’Or by secure transport and delivered to ALS Chemex. Vision Lithium Inc. applies a rigorous quality control protocol, including the insertion of certified analytical standards, duplicates and blanks and statistical follow-up of the results.
