United Says 787 Flights Could Resume Earlier Than Planned

Bloomberg reported that United Continental Holdings Inc expects to resume flights for its 787 Dreamliner fleet earlier as it prepares a May 31 flight between Houston and Denver.

As quoted in the market news:

The previous goal was to restart that service with a 787 on June 5, pending U.S. regulators’ approval of Boeing’s proposed upgrades to the jet’s lithium-ion batteries, said Christen David, a spokeswoman for Chicago-based United.
