Lithium Australia Produces Superior Lithium-ion Battery Cathode

The batteries – manufactured using cathode materials produced by the Very Small Particle Company (VSPC) and subjected to testing in an independent German laboratory – performed better than those complying with commercially available reference standards.

The batteries – manufactured using cathode materials produced by the Very Small Particle Company (VSPC) and subjected to testing in an independent German laboratory – performed better than those complying with commercially available reference standards.
As part of its strategy to ensure a seamless transition from mine waste to cathode materials, LIT has agreed to purchase no less than 75% of the issued capital of VSPC. The production of the cathode materials represents a significant value-add to lithium chemicals produced via LIT’s 100%-owned SiLeach® process.
