The Benchmark Mineral Intelligence World Tour Starts April 21!
The tour begins in Vancouver on April 21 and will stop in 13 cities across the globe.
Benchmark Mineral Intelligence’s World Tour is back! Now in its third year, the event kicks off in Vancouver on April 21, and will include stops in 13 in cities across the globe.
All stops will feature half a day of free investment seminars focused on the emerging lithium-ion battery supply chain. Simon Moores and Caspar Rawles of Benchmark Mineral Intelligence will speaking at every event, with a variety of different experts joining them at each stop.
Vancouver speakers will include Chris Berry of the Disruptive Discoveries Journal, as well as executives from Lithium Americas (TSX:LAC), Nano One Materials (TSXV:NNO), Neo Lithium (TSXV:NLC) and NextSource Materials (TSX:EGZ) (formerly Energizer Resources).
Topics that will be addressed on the World Tour include:
- Lithium-ion megafactories: battery cell capacity expansions begin
- Full EVs: Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA), Chevrolet, BMW (ETR:BMW) or Volkswagen (ETR:VOW3) — who will lead the pack?
- Utility/stationary storage: technologies and tipping points
- Lithium supply: brines vs. hard rock
- Graphite supply: natural vs. synthetic
- Cobalt: nickel and copper cuts, how will supply be impacted?
The Investing News Network will be attending the Vancouver leg of the World Tour. The half-day event starts at 8:30 a.m. on April 21 and will be held at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. A field trip to Nano One Materials’ cathode pilot plant in Burnaby is on deck for the afternoon, though space is limited. You can view the full schedule here.
