Argentina Plant to Start Producing Lithium Carbonate

The Vancouver Sun reports Lithium Americas Corp. (TSX:LAC) will produce lithium carbonate at its Cauchari-Olaroz project in Argentina.

The market news is quoted as saying,

The company said it is constructing a pilot plant to produce 99.5 per cent purity lithium carbonate at the third-largest lithium brine project in the world, which will likely benefit from an expected 20 per cent rise in lithium carbonate prices.
