Kabul’s Eye on Aussie Expertise

The Australian reported on Afghanistan’s interest in having Australian mining companies explore for cobalt and other resources in the country.

The market news is quoted as saying:

“We want to learn from Australia’s strong experience in managing mineral resources and to encourage Australian mining companies to invest in our rich minerals sector,” [Afghanistan’s Mining Minister] Mr Shahrani told The Australian.
