Aggressive strategy pays off for Ivanhoe

The Sydney Morning Herald.com reports that Ivanhoe Australia (NYSE:IVN,TSX:IVN,ASX:IVA) has provided good news for the mining sector this week.

The editorial is quoted as saying:

Hole BAD0018 returned a 29 metre intersection from a depth of 210 metres grading 3.21 per cent copper, 3.37 grams of gold a tonne and 383 parts per million cobalt. Barnes Shaft also comes with a near surface supergene enrichment zone which give it the potential to start life as a mining operation from an open-cut position.
