Xstrata plans to boost Mount Isa Zinc production by 10pct

Steel Guru.com reports that Xstrata (LON:XTA) will increase both zinc and lead production.

The story is quoted as saying:

Mr Brian Hearne COO for the Zug Switzerland based company’s Australian zinc division said that “We’re continuing to improve the processing operations as well as on the mining side. It’s going to go up more than 10% this year for zinc and lead about the same. Next year is about the same outlook.”
