LME Zinc, Zinc Futures Edge Upward

The Economic Times reported that zinc on the London Metal Exchange rose 0.2 percent, to US$1,880.25 per tonne. Zinc futures also moved slightly upward.

As quoted in the market news:

Zinc prices moved up by 0.36 per cent to Rs 110.30 per kg in futures market today as speculators enlarged their positions, supported by a firm global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in July traded higher by 40 paise, or 0.36 per cent to Rs 119.39 per kg in business turnover of 1,905 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in August contract edged up by same margin to Rs 111.55 per kg in 233 lots.
