the company said it believes that the change of name will better reflect the company’s diversified position in both gold and zinc exploration and resource development.
Connemara Mining (LSE:CON), the Irish gold and zinc exploration and development company, announces that it is proposing to change the name of the Company to Arkle Resources.
In a release, the company said the board believes that the change of name, while reflecting the company’s heritage as an Irish-based company established to focus on zinc assets, will better reflect the company’s diversified position in both gold and zinc exploration and resource development.
As quoted in the press release:
A resolution to change the name of the company will be proposed at an extraordinary general meeting to be held at 162 Clontarf Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3 at 10.30 a.m. on 12 March 2019.
