Mining Weekly reports Victory Nickel (TSX:NI) has received a draft of the Environment Act Licence for its Minago nickel project in Canada.
The market news is quoted as saying,
The Minago openpit will produce around 26-million pounds of nickel a year for about nine years.
The company also plans to evaluate a potential underground mine and the development of other pits at the project.
Victory Nickel shares rose 11.76% on Wednesday, to 9.5 Canadian cents a share by 15:58 in Toronto.
