Russia doubles nickel tariff to 10 percent

Reuters.com reports that Russia has has increased it’s tariff on Nickel to 10%.

The story is quoted as saying:

The government lifted the 5-percent tariff on nickel and a 10 percent tariff on copper cathodes in February 2009 to help local producers to cope with the global economic crisis.
