Pioneer Expected To Take Interest In Nickel Project

Mining Weekly reported Pioneer Resources (NYSE:PXD) is expected to take a majority interest in the Fairwater nickel gold project in Western Australia.

As quoted in the market news:

The Fairwater project covers some 338 km² of predominantly granted tenure and lies within the mineral province that hosts both the Tropicana gold project and the recently discovered Nova nickel/copper deposit.
