Reuters reports global nickel consumption will grow by 5 percent in 2011.

Global nickel consumption will grow by 5 percent in 2011 and production will expand by 10 percent, bringing the market into balance from deficit a year ago, the chief analyst for Norilsk Nickel , the world’s largest nickel and palladium producer, said on Monday.
