Reuters Africa reports that spot iron ore prices fell for the second straight month in Shanghai today.

The market news is quoted as saying,

Most iron ore indexes, which track spot transactions in China and which global miners use as basis in setting contract prices, were mostly steady on Thursday after falling to three-month lows recently.
