Base Metals Investing Reuters reported that copper prices edged higher on Tuesday, for a fourth day of gains, as the dollar fell. Still managing to keep a tight hold on copper prices are fears and uncertainty in the Eurozone’s debt crisis.

Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange closed 0.3 percent higher at $8,325.50 a metric tonne, coming off an intraday high of $8,379.75. It extended gains from Monday, when it rose about one percent.
