Copper prices remained relatively unchanged Sept. 17 from the previous session as investors await the US Federal Reserve’s decision on the stimulus program, Reuters reported. The Fed began its two-day meeting today, and an announcement regarding the monetary stimulus is expected tomorrow.

Benchmark copper on the London Metal Exchange was flat from the Sept. 16 close at $7,085 a tonne, according to Reuters.

Copper futures for December delivery rose by $0.01 to $3.23 a pound on the COMEX in New York, MarketWatch reported.
