Benchmark copper on the London Metal Exchange ended at $7,865 a tonne, down from a last bid of $7,910 on Thursday. The metal earlier hit a session high of $8,059.75 per tonne as concerns over a disorderly Greek debt default eased after Greece’s move to call off the referendum.
