Western Areas: Odysseus DFS Delay

The previous target for release of the DFS was prior to the end of September 2018, however due to the unplanned late receipt of certain key data, there will be a short delay to the announcement of the results.

Western Areas (ASX:WSA) wishes to advise that the release of the Odysseus nickel deposit definitive feasibility study results will occur before the end of October 2018.

According to Western Areas, the previous target for release of the DFS was prior to the end of September 2018, however due to the unplanned late receipt of certain key data, there will be a short delay to the announcement of the results.

As quoted in the press release:

The company can confirm that all technical work is complete, with the focus now on report compilation, peer and board review prior to finalization.
This minor delay in release of the DFS in no way impacts the intended project delivery schedule.
