The all-day event is set to take place on January 26 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.

The Cantech Investment Conference will bring together top thought leaders, investors and rapidly growing tech companies, uniting the best of the best in tech investment opportunities.
The Toronto-based conference will be hosted on January 26 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center by Cambridge House International in partnership with CantechLetter.com.
Speaking to the Investing News Network, Cambridge House President Jay Martin encouraged investors to attend the event, commenting that his company has long been interested in the tech space. “We had wanted to jump into the tech space for a while, but it wasn’t until we met Nick Wadell, who runs CantechLetter.com, that we knew: the time is right, the partner’s right, let’s do this!” he said. Three years later, the conference has gone on to become the largest tech investment conference in Canada.

Martin promised that this year’s conference will be a “great show.” So what’s on the schedule? With 36 speakers covering topics as diverse as FinTech’s future, investing in disruptive technologies and the challenges of listing on the Canadian market, it will indeed be a “very busy” day. Key speakers include Shoes.com Co-founder and CEO Roger Hardy; Tom Liston of Difference Capital; and Ian Black of Uber Canada.
