The BBC reported that bitcoin scientist, Gavin Andresen answered some questions about the revelation that Australian businessman, Craig Wright, is behind the bitcoin virtual currency.
According to the BBC:
The early Bitcoin blocks are the ones widely accepted to be connected to Satoshi Nakamoto – the pseudonym adopted by the creator of Bitcoin.
Andersen told BBC that:
[Wright] provided cryptographic proof using the very first Bitcoin block to show he possessed that key.
To me he’s proved it beyond a reasonable doubt.
