Inseego Corp (NASDAQ:INSG), an industry leader in solutions for intelligent mobile enterprises announced that Oakley Group, one of the largest goods transportation companies in South Africa reported a reduction in operational expenses after implementing Ctrack solution.
Inseego said that their Ctrack solution was applies across Oakley’s fleet of vehicles which services diverse industries such as mining, food and beverage and retail.
As quoted in the press release:
Oakley Group deployed a fully integrated fleet management solution including a camera system for added security and video telematics. The complete solution provides advanced tracking, route optimization and mobile resource management all from a centralized platform. The addition of a video telematics system enables fleet managers to capture and prevent road incidents, encourage better driver behavior and enhance security of the high-value assets that the company transports.
“Inseego’s Ctrack solution provides us great visibility into our fleet,” says Nardus Meyer, CEO of the Oakley Group of companies. “We needed a total solution that could be flexible in terms of its capabilities and which provides our fleet managers with precise control over driven kilometers, routes and driver fatigue. The Ctrack solution is helping us improve the safety of our employees as well as better fleet economics.”
“Oakley’s early success with the fully-integrated Ctrack solution is a testament to the value it delivers to our customers,” said Chris Lytle, EVP of Enterprise SaaS Solutions at Inseego. “Within less than two years, Oakley achieved improvements including reduced fuel and operational costs to a decrease in insurance claims because of leveraging business intelligence from our platform.”
South African companies lose millions $USD each year to cargo theft and fraudulent insurance claims. Inseego’s Ctrack solution empowers fleet owners to take proactive measures to keep in-transit cargo secure with several layers of protection that guide drivers towards less risky routes, real-time video monitoring and incident capture, geo fencing and more.
