Freedom Mobile Expands Into Eastern Ontario

Shaw Communications (TSX:SJR.B, NYSE:SJR, TSXV:SJR.A) announced that Freedom Mobile has now expanded into six Eastern Ontario Communities enabling access to affordable plans for the residents of  Cobourg, Trenton, Belleville, Brockville, Cornwall and Pembroke.

As part of its expansion, Freedom Mobile is offering residents in the Cobourg, Trenton, Belleville, Brockville, Cornwall and Pembroke markets the opportunity to take advantage of introductory pricing and receive 10GB of data along with unlimited Canada-wide talk and text.

Freedom Mobile’s expansion into Eastern Ontario comes after Shaw has made substantial investments in its wireless network to reach more Canadians. This year, Freedom Mobile’s expansion plans include launching service in new communities across B.C., Alberta and Ontario, providing access to 1.3 million more people.
