Hyundai Motor Brazil Launches Augmented Reality Mobile App Developed by YDreams Global
YDreams Global Interactive Technologies Inc. (TSXV:YD, www.ydreamsglobal.com) (“YDreams” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has developed a new augmented reality mobile app for Hyundai Motor Brazil.
YDreams Global Interactive Technologies Inc. (TSXV:YD, www.ydreamsglobal.com) (“YDreams” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has developed a new augmented reality mobile app for Hyundai Motor Brazil. The cutting-edge app was launched this week by Hyundai Motor Brazil to showcase two commemorative editions of the Crete and HB20 models. The mobile app explains in an easy and interactive way what the main features of the special edition line of cars has to offer. The app is available free on Google Play and Apple Store.
“The virtual guide is an initiative to improve the experience of our customers by easily providing relevant information about the car interactively through smartphone or tablet, thus reducing the need to check the owner’s manual. Our plan is to extend it to the whole line in 2019, “said Angel Martinez, Director of Sales, Marketing and After Sales of Hyundai Motor Brazil.
The special series celebrates the milestone of 1 million automobiles produced in the automaker’s factory in Piracicaba (SP). The “Virtual Guide Hyundai” application will allow owners of the “1 Million Commemorative Edition” models, to see the main features of the vehicle and how to use them through augmented reality.
To have access to the resources of augmented reality, all the client has to do is point his/her mobile device to certain areas of the vehicle to view information about the exterior and interior of the vehicles. For example; engine, safety items, dashboard, air-conditioning, blueMedia multimedia central, among others and the “Hyundai Key Band” – a special key designed as a bracelet and exclusive to the Crete model. The application also provides demo videos for some functions.
“This is our first augmented reality mobile apps and we are thrilled to be working with Hyundai Motor Brazil for its debut” says Daniel Japiassu CEO of YDreams Global “the interactive qualities of augmented reality are a great way to process information and we see this market growing significantly. Companies like Hyundai Motor Brazil are leading the way information will be communicated.”
Limited Edition 1 Million
Limited to 4500 units in the models, HB20S and HB20 and Crete, 1 Million Commemorative Edition brings unique beige leather seats, custom front door thresholds, emblem depicting the special series and Multimedia Center with digital TV. For the SUV Crete, the novelty is the exclusive “Hyundai Key Band”, a special key shaped as a bracelet, which in addition to performing the main functions of the smart key, provides connectivity with smartphone and works as a clock.
