Uranium Investing News reports with September rolling in and several events such as back to school, summer almost being over, crowded buses and spot price of uranium is holding at US$64.50/lb.

According to price publisher Tradetech, more than 1.5 million pounds U3O8equivalent changed hands in August spread over eight transactions. This is well down compared to July, when more than 2.5 million pounds U3O8was traded in 15 transactions, but the troubles of uranium producers and ambitious nuclear expansion plans from some of the world’s growing economies promise future price hikes.
