As quoted in the market news:

Chungar, also one of the largest silver producing mines in Peru, is primarily a zinc producing mine.

Peru’s production peaked in 2009 at 126 million ounces of silver followed by three consecutive years of decline. The country bounced back in 2013 and is expected to produce nearly 120 million ounces of silver in 2014.
