Peru Stocks: Atacocha, Buenaventura, Candente Copper, Volcan

Bloomber reports that gold and silver miners dropped after futures declined in New York, said Arlen Lahura, a trader at Lima-based brokerage Coril SAB.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Cia. de Minas Buenaventura SAA (BVN PE), the country’s biggest precious-metals miner, fell for a fourth session, losing 1.5 percent to $40.01. Volcan Cia. Minera SAA (VOLCABC1 PE), Peru’s biggest silver producer, dropped 0.7 percent to 4.07 soles. Cia. Minera Atacocha SA (ATACOBC1 PE), the Lima-based silver and zinc mining company, fell for a sixth session, declining 1.4 percent to 1.38 soles.
