Reuters reports that Minefinders Corp (TSE:MFL) reported higher fourth-quarter results on increased silver production, and forecast higher gold and silver production for this year.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The company expects to produce and sell about 65,000-70,000 ounces of gold and 3.3-3.5 million ounces of silver in 2011.
October-December net income was $12.1 million, or 18 cents a share, compared with $4.3 million, or 7 cents a share, a year ago.
