First Majestic Reports 10% Higher Q1 Profit

Mining Weekly reported that higher production and silver prices helped First Majestic Silver (TSX:FR) to a 10% boost in quarterly profit.

On Thursday [the company] posted a 10% profit rise for the first quarter to $26.4-million on Thursday, aided by higher production and prices. Per-share earnings were $0.25, a 5% increase on the same period last year.
