Comstock Mining (NYSE:LODE) reported the start of smelting at the Merrill Crowe precipitate on Friday September 28th. The company poured a total of 3,743 ounces of gold and silver over six Dore bars.

Comstock Mining (NYSE:LODE) reported the start of smelting at the Merrill Crowe precipitate on Friday September 28th. The company poured a total of 3,743 ounces of gold and silver over six Dore bars.

As quoted in the press release:

The pour successfully concludes the Company’s “March to Production” project and establishes the Company’s first revenue stream. The Dore was sold in September for over $700,000, representing a gold price of $1,777.25 per ounce and a silver price of $34.61 per ounce, with one bar to be held in reserve to produce commemoratives celebrating the event.
